Samuel Denini, 16 years old

What is your tribe/mother tongue?

Portuguese, Swahili. Angolian tribe

What is your favourite thing about school?

My favourite thing about school is sports, reading and learning new words.

Who lives with you at your house? What are some of the chores you have to do at home?

My parents. I do house chores such as washing dishes, cleaning the house and watering the garden.

What would you like people in America to know about your country, Namibia?

Namibia is surrounded by many natural wonders.

What are some of your goals and dreams? What do you want to be when you grow up?

My goal is to pass my grade and become a rocket scientist.

What is your favourite thing about Namibia? What is your favorite thing about your culture/tribe?

My favourite thing about Namibia is Popa Falls where you can see the water flowing. My favourite thing about my culture is that we communicate with baboons because we learned their language.

Who is your hero and why?

My brother is my hero because he saved me from drowning in the sea.
