Kian Bock, 13 years old

What is your tribe/mother tongue?

German and Dutch

What is your favourite thing about school?

My favourite thing to do is to learn, socialise and play.

Who lives with you at your house? What are some of the chores you have to do at home?

My mother, father and my two sisters. I feed the pets.

What would you like people in America to know about your country, Namibia?

That it’s a beautiful place with lots of interesting trees and animals.

What are some of your goals and dreams? What do you want to be when you grow up?

My goal is to finish school with amazing marks. My dream is to become a successful person in life. I want to do a lot of things in life, but I am still young.

What is your favourite thing about your culture?

The songs, dancing and games.

Who is your hero and why?

My hero is my father because when I am in trouble he helps me. Whenever I am petrified he helps me to conquer my fears.He gives me advice on how to be a good man in the future. He also teaches me new things.
